COVID-19 Update [April 19, 2022] | Everett Transit

Community,
Thank you for your trust, compliance, and understanding as we have made our way through the COVID-19 pandemic; together we have made our transit community a safer place. We have implemented several new operational standards surrounding customer and operator safety since the beginning of the pandemic that we will continue to use as we move forward, and we are committed to continue protecting all Everett Transit customers in the best way we can.

As of April 18, 2022 the Transportation Security Administration will no longer enforce its Security Directives and Emergency Amendment that was put in place on January 29, 2021. The CDC recommends that transit customers continue to wear masks while aboard public transportation, but the mandate will no longer be enforced.

Everett Transit values the safety concerns of all our transit customers and operators, and while masks are optional aboard public transit, we will continue to encourage transit users to mask as needed. Additionally, Everett Transit will continue to supply masks onboard Everett Transit buses— while supplies last.

Thank you for continuing to make Everett Transit a welcome place for all.
