Each year, the Amalgamated Transit Union Local 883 hosts the Stuff a Bus Food and Toy Charity drive at the Fred Meyer located on Murphy's Corner in Everett. Volunteers from the transit union, Everett Transit and the Volunteers of America help collect food and toys with the goal of completely filling an Everett Transit bus from back to front. Volunteers of America distributes the items to local families in need each holiday season. Visit their website to volunteer for the event!
